In this position, I managed and developed a team of four Quality specialists. Developed and maintained their CAPA process, RMA process, as well as all procedures and process maps for the department. I reviewed and approved Certificates of Analysis and released products to be sold. Investigated and reviewed client and vendor-related concerns, managed returns and led the HACCP team. Further, I assessed weaknesses and gaps in their current processes and worked towards resolution through CAPA and associated meetings. I also developed their sampling protocols and implemented training for succession. I worked closely with the IT, EHS, Marketing, and sales teams to further their efforts in efficiency and reporting.
