  • Generally, I manage the TC training matrix, electronic & physical filing of records, program development, curriculum, and training aid development, and the scheduling of classes as requested by departments. As well as other functions such as reviewing and updating processes to assist with alignment, clarity, and validity. I created the SOP Development reporting tool to offer enhanced communication between our documents and our developers. The increased transparency, thus far, has allowed us to better spot our gaps and create an individualized plan of attack. On a monthly basis, I use both aforementioned tools to generate a monthly report that communicates the overall view of our documents from ISO publishing up to new development.

    On a weekly basis, I use both tools to generate reports letting all associated employees, who are within the populated list, know that a GAP or task exists that requires their attention. I have been working on enhancing the department’s curriculum as well as increasing the reporting property of the matrix. Thus far, I have managed to take all courses offered and create WebEx, Show, and CBT platform training, and transition the department into tablet use vs printed material, saving the company over $50,000 every 5 years. Aside from these tasks, I locate documents that could use logic and apply logic in a way that will secure data, streamline processes, highlight errors, and communicate required fields as appropriate to the user.

    Depending on the weekly workload I schedule meetings with task holders as needed so that I may assist in the development process and decrease development time. Previously, I managed the CASC training matrix and the CASC SOP development library; as well as developed and managed the SOP Development Workflow process and reporting tool. I schedule and facilitate training topics throughout the year that have either been determined as compliance or have been acknowledged as a gap in our workforce. In parallel I ensure that all our tools and resources are available to all necessary users; this includes the management and development of the associated SharePoint site. In short, I operated as a 1-man training department for over 360 people with respect to their task, compliance, and development-related needs.
